Terms and Conditions

Manufacture times:
Our delivery times vary as we have some items that are stocked, some items that are stocked but delivered from America, and some items made to order from scratch, so they all have slightly different delivery times but as a general rule all orders go out in around 28 days If orders are likely to take longer we will try to let you know via email of any possible delays.

Here is a summary;

Tiaras

Nathalie French items usually take around one week to arrive, if you order them in conjunction with a veil we will send both together in the usual 4 week time frame.

OR

If you order an Illusions Bridal tiara on its own, these are our American designs so they take around 2 weeks (give or take a day or two) to arrive. Again if you order it with a veil it will take around 4 weeks as we send them both together.

Veils

For veils, our standard manufacture time is 4 weeks for all of our veils, including custom designs, as most of our veil designs are individually made to order here at our factory. We know its hard to wait 4 weeks to see your veil, but making to order in this way allows us to offer more designs in more colour and size options, and since most of our orders are custom orders, it's the only way.

Please be prepared to be slightly flexible on the above times by a few days either side to allow for non posting days and also when we get a lot of rush orders this can delay the standard manufacture veils a bit.

Please also note: If you select the rush order service (2 weeks) and your order includes an Illusions veil, tiara or jewellery set, it will still be around 2 weeks as promised, but we cant guarantee it wont go over by a day or two as they come all the way from the U.S then on to you in the post so please be aware of this when you order so that you dont panic. If you dont have any flexibility on time and need a tiara within 14 days its not a problem, you would just need to look at our tiaras by Nathalie French which are in stock here in the UK and always be sure to tell us your wedding date at checkout.

Backorder items
 

Occasionally Illusions bridal and Nathalie French tiaras and jewellery can have a limited amount of stock on backorder merchandise. All this means is that they are currently out of stock of that particular one but will be getting it back in soon. 

Rush Orders.
 
Rush orders are availble for emercency orders where time is limited, we endeavor to get all rush orders delivered in 14 days for a surcharge of £8.00 payable at checkout included within the Rush order shipping selection, For anything needed sooner than this please email and we will try and help if we can.

Payment Methods

We currently accept payments by all major credit/debit cards though SagePay, cheque or postal order. Custom order payments will be requested via an e-mail containing a link to the checkout pages.

VAT

All prices are inclusive of VAT, our registration number is 928 6339 88.Payments will be shown in British pounds, Euro's and U.S Dollars at checkout, see shipping charges for orders from outside the UK below)
 
Privacy Policy

Contact information including email address, telephone number, address, etc. which is provided by the user is used solely for the purpose of completing the order. Financial information including credit card numbers, expiration dates, billing address is used solely to bill the customer for their order.    

Returns policy For Veils. (Different policies apply to custom made items see below) 

We accept returns on our products as long as they are not a custom order.

In return for this all that we ask that you dont order more than one veil at a time with the intention of returning one as this would be non profitable and also time comsuming to us. If you need to check the colour we will send you samples click here to order some. If you find the first veil isn't "the one" you can re-order with us via email and we will put the new one through on rush order for free for you.

Returns will be accepted and credited (less postage) on veils that have been ordered from the site providing they meet the following criteria;     

• The intention to return is notified by email within 7 days of receipt of your order.
• The item shows no signs of damage or excess handling
• The item is packaged with care in it's original packaging
• It was not a custom order item (ordered via the Custom Veil Designer or by e-mail in a style not illustrated on site)- these are non returnable according to the distance selling regulation (of course damaged/faulty or incorrect goods will be repaired or replaced with an identical item)
• They are suitable for resale (if the item doesn't work with your outfit please take good care of it as it may be perfect for someone else)

Custom Made Veils

If a custom made item is found to be defective in any way you must notify us as soon as possible and return it to us within the 7 day cancellation period. It will be repaired or replaced with an identical item and all postage costs will be paid by The Wedding Veil Shop by way of a reimbursement onto your card or by cheque.

No returns will be accepted for any reason after the 7 day period to ensure they haven't been worn and returned. 

For Tiaras

Orders for tiaras and facinators etc can be returned for any reason and will be refunded or replaced as required. Please note we cannot accept returns on earrings.

Cancellation policy

Orders may be cancelled within 7 days of receipt (excluding custom made veils see above)

Delivery prices

The delivery prices include gift packaging, postal packaging and actual postage costs and are as follows;

1st Class recorded -standard manufacture times £4.50. This service is not guaranteed but is fine if you have bags of time to account for any delays.

Special Delivery -standard manufacture times £7.00 This service is guaranteed and insured and would be what we would recommend.

Rush order service- plus special delivery £15.00 inclusive (manufacture within 14 days.)

Orders from outside the UK -standard manufacture time £12.00 (manufacture 4 weeks on average plus postage time, rush orders are unavailable due to the uncertainty of the postage time it will take to your location)
