Manufacture times:
Our delivery times vary depending on what your have ordered
as we have some items that are stocked for immediate despatch, some items that are stocked but delivered from America, and
some items made to order from scratch.
Here
is a summary;
Tiaras
Jessica Lauren tiaras are in stock from immediate despatch. If you order them in conjunction with a veil we will send both together after
the veil is made.
Illusions Bridal tiaras are shipped from, America and take around 4-6 weeks for delivery. These tiaras should not be ordered on our Rush order
service (see details below).
Veils
For veils, our standard manufacture time is currently
3 weeks for most of our veil collections*. This includes our custom designs. The length of time for delivery is due to our
veil designs being individually made to order here at our factory. We know its hard to wait weeks to see your veil, but
making to order in this way allows us to offer more designs in more colour and size options, and since most of our orders
are custom orders, it's the only way.
*Exceptions
to this rule are Illusions Bridal veils which are shipped from America and are on a 4-6 week delivery, and Jessica Lauren Bridal veils which are in stock from immediate despatch.
Rush Orders.
Rush orders are available for emergency orders
where time is limited. We endeavour to get all rush orders delivered in 7-10 days (sometimes sooner depending on how
busy we are) for a surcharge of £8.00. The fee is included within the Rush order shipping selection payable at checkout. For anything needed sooner
than this please email and we will try and help if we can. Please note that Illusions Bridal veils and tiaras
are not available on rush order as they are shipped from America.
Backorder items
Occasionally Illusions
bridal and Nathalie French tiaras and jewellery can have a limited amount of stock on backorder merchandise. All this means is that they are currently out of stock of that particular one but will be getting it back
in soon.
Payment Methods
We
currently accept payments by all major credit/debit cards though SagePay, cheque or postal order. Custom order payments will
be requested via an e-mail containing a link to the checkout pages.
VAT
All prices are inclusive
of VAT, our registration number is 928 6339 88. Payments will be shown in British pounds, Euro's and U.S Dollars
at checkout, see shipping charges for orders from outside the UK below)
Privacy Policy
Contact information including email address, telephone number, address, etc. which is provided by the user is
used solely for the purpose of completing the order. Financial information including credit card numbers, expiration dates,
billing address is used solely to bill the customer for their order.
Returns
policy For Veils. (Different policies apply to custom made items- see below)
We accept returns on our products as long as they are not
a custom order.
As we make most items to order,
we would appreciate it if you were certain of your colour selection before ordering so that we can be sure what we are making
for you will be suitable. Samples can be ordered here
Returns will be accepted and credited (less
postage) on veils that have been ordered from the site providing they meet the following criteria;
- The intention to return
is notified by email within 7 days of receipt of your order.
- The item shows no signs of damage or excess handling
- The item is packaged with care in it's original packaging
- It was not a custom order item (ordered via
the Custom Veil Designer or by e-mail in a style not illustrated on site)- these are non returnable according to the
distance selling regulation (of course damaged/faulty or incorrect goods will be repaired or replaced with
an identical item)
- They are suitable
for resale (if the item doesn't work with your outfit please take good care of it as it may be perfect for someone
else)
Custom Made Veils
These are non returnable as they have been made to your
specification and we have no way of offering them to another customer. For a detailed look at the Distance Selling Regulations

If a custom made item
is found to be defective in any way you must notify us as soon as possible and return it to us within the 7 day cancellation
period. It will be repaired or replaced with an identical item and all postage costs will be paid by The Wedding
Veil Shop by way of a reimbursement onto your card or by cheque.
No returns will be accepted for any reason after the 7 day period to ensure they haven't been worn
and returned.
For Tiaras
Tiaras can be returned for any reason and will be refunded or replaced as required. Please note we cannot
accept returns on earrings.
Cancellation
policy
Orders may be cancelled within 7 days of receipt (excluding custom made veils see above)
Delivery prices
The delivery prices include
gift packaging, postal packaging and actual postage costs and are as follows;
1st Class recorded -standard
manufacture times £4.50. This service is not guaranteed but is fine if you have bags of time to
account for any delays.
Special Delivery -standard manufacture times £8.00 This service is guaranteed
and insured and would be what we would recommend.
Rush
order service- plus special delivery £16.00 inclusive (manufacture within 7-10 days.)
Orders from outside the UK -standard manufacture
time £16.00 (manufacture 4 weeks on average plus postage time, rush orders are unavailable
due to the uncertainty of the postage time it will take to your location)
